Exciting opportunity for an energetic, motivated and committed Handyman to assist in the coordination and delivery of maintenance activities across our northern site venues.

Mounties Group is comprised of 7 Registered Clubs across Sydney’s South West & Northern Beaches and proudly employs over 554 staff across the registered clubs.
About the Role...
As the Handyman, you will complete general maintenance activities and ensure the venue is well presented, clean, serviced, compliant, functioning and that all stakeholders’ daily needs are anticipated and met ensuring a safe, efficient and comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- General handyman activities including repairs and maintenance activities and communicate the progress and completion of those works as required including the following:
- Plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Furniture repair
- General carpentry repairs
- Minor electrical repairs and maintenance (lamp replacements)
- Painting and plastering repairs
- Ceiling repairs
- Portering duties
- Other general handyman duties as directed.
- Participate in establishing effective maintenance procedures to improve the operation of the site.
- Ensure positive and effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders.
- Identify and report defects.
- Identify, investigate and resolve service issues promptly and effectively, including providing the necessary feedback to determine next steps.
- Demonstrate a commitment to work safely, independently and as part of a team.
About You...
Previous handyman experience within a commercial environment, you will easily demonstrate your excellent written and verbal communication skills and be driven to work independently as well as part of a wider team..
Essential experience:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Essential qualifications:
- Trade qualified in either Electrical, Air conditioning or Refrigeration
Essential qualities & behaviour:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate computer skills
- Availability to work flexible days including occasional weekends, after hours and public holidays
