Statewest Group is currently seeking experienced HV Electricians.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work alone without direct supervision or within a team and demonstrate experience in the mining and construction industry; The candidate will at minimum possess the following attributes to be considered for the role:
- Willing to work onsite at both local and remote locations where overtime and shift work may be required at short notice.
- The successful applicant shall possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communications skills whilst maintaining a high regard to safety to allow them to deliver our clients first rate customer service.
- The successful applicant will be required to complete full medical and drug screening
- 'A' grade WA electrical worker's licence.
- Current WA driver's licence.
- The successful applicant shall supply a national police clearance (less than 3 months old)
Applicants with the following will be looked upon favourably:
- HV switching / terminating.
- Fixed plant maintenance experience.
- Underground operations and equipment maintenance.
- Control system experience including fault finding and PLC.
- Cert IV in instrumentation.
- Experience with mobile equipment including single and three phase generation units, lighting towers and pumps
The successful candidate will be supplied with uniforms, desirable remuneration with a site allowance, overtime and a site service vehicle.
