Are you a Qualified Motor Mechanic?
Perhaps you are a 3rd or 4th year apprentice seeking the prospect of an ongoing role, where you'll be supported with hands on additional training and development.
Situated in the Angle Vale area, a rare opportunity for either a fully qualified mechanic or 3rd – 4th apprentice to join his team.
Advantageous would be Diesel experience, if not on the job training will be provided.
Initially the role will be FT casual with potential for permanency for the right person.
The successful applicant must be able to work Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (approx.) and reside locally.
The role will require you to:
- carry out general servicing and repairs detect mechanical faults, check engine condition, braking efficiency and all related mechanical diagnostics and repair faults
- log book servicing
- all other mechanical duties, as directed
To be considered for the role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:
- fully qualified mechanic – or a 3rd or 4th year apprentice
- have a current SA drivers Licence
- have strong time management skills
- be self-motivated
- be able to work in team environment
In addition, you MUST:
- Be able to pass a pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
- Have own tools and PPE
- Provide 2 current work referees
