About the Role

Our client is looking for a trade qualified Diesel Fitter in the Toowoomba region for an immediate start. The successful candidate will work an average of 38 hours Monday to Friday. The role will be temporary for a 4 month minimum position with competitive rates on offer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and reconditioning on heavy earthmoving equipment and plant equipment.
• Research and consult the correct and latest service systems for specific procedures, as well as parts, products and information.
• Assure that all tasks are free from faults and assure quality in the finished product.
• Ensure repairs are carried out using the correct procedures and guidelines including check lists and quality control procedures.

 Tickets/Qualifications/Experience

• Trade Qualification (Essential)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (Desirable)
• Full working rights in Australia (Essential)
