ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This is a well established D&C mechanical contractor who have a range of large projects underway, and more commencing in the next 6 - 12 months. The construction arm is currently in the process of expanding. A number of site-based positions are now available for various levels of experience offering genuine opportunities for long term career progression.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Site Manager, you will supported by your extended team of Project Managers and Engineers. You will be allocated projects that will generally vary from $5m - $15m (mechanical services value) and include retail, commercial, or health projects. Based on your performance in this role, your long term fit within this growing team will see you progress onto larger scale works and Project Management.
DUTIES.
- Manage subcontractors
- Site set out and mark out for all trades
- Schedule and complete a weekly program
- Manage supplies and deliveries
- Conduct site inductions and tool box talks
- Ensure safety procedures are being followed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- HVAC Trade qualifications, or similar
- Previous Site Management experience with a mechanical contractor
- HVAC Site Supervisors looking to take a step up are encouraged to apply
- Experience delivering commercial projects will be advantageous
- Proficient in scheduling, programming and problem solving
