Installation Supervisor - Mechanical or Electrical - Sydney Metro Project
Our client is the global leader in manufacturing and services to the rail and industrial industries.
We urgently looking for an experienced Installation Manager for a major project based at Sydney Metro Norwest. This role is overseeing the subcontractors on site to instal their state of art platform doors to the trains.
Role
- On site supervision of system installation by subcontractors
- Interface with the customer construction managers and subcontractors supervisors
- Manage and resolve all project installation and operational issues with the team and work closely with the Installation Manager to ensure completion of the project.
- Promote a Safety culture where all personnel have an understanding of the Safety, Health and Environmental Plan and operate rigorously in accordance with it.
- Liaise with the Installation Manager on Scheduling update
- Ensure the installation subcontractor is operating within the contractual obligations / constraints / requirements/etc.
Essential Criteria
- Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Demonstrate ability to manage similiar projects with multi-disciplined nature;
- Possess or willling to secure Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI) qualifications;
- Self-motivated;
- Conflict resolution skills;
- Display strong analytical ability;
- Strong time management skills;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence; and
- Able to read drawings, and complete projects on time in a safe manner
