About the Company
We are looking for Gate Attendants and Ticket Sellers who want to be part of the exciting and dynamic Perth Racing Security Team. Operating from our 2 premier race tracks, Ascot and Belmont, as well as many external events, Perth Racing Security (PRS) assist by managing the safety, customer service and Liquor Control Act requirements of between 300 to 25,000 patrons per event. PRS has been providing security and gate attendant services since 2005 and also provide premium services for many regional race clubs and their carnival seasons. In addition to providing Gate Attendants at our weekly race days, PRS also provide ticket selling and event services as required.
About the Role
PRS is currently recruiting for Gate Attendants, which also includes ticket selling positions. Reporting to the Security Management Team or delegate you will be working with a professional, dynamic group to provide an exceptional level of customer service to our patrons and clients.
Gate Attendant
- Oversee the facilitation of patron, vehicle and equine ingress including strict adherence with ticketing and member pass guidelines;
- Respond to customer enquiries including distribution of tickets for events & functions;
- Accurately records attendance figures;
- Accurate and efficient cash handling;
- Provide high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
To be successful in this position you will have;
- Customer service experience
- 1st Aid certificate (highly regarded)
- Police clearance (ticket selling positions only)

- Sound Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service focus and experience;
- Be able to work as part of and contribute to a team;
