The Role
We require an experienced General Hand to join our Facility Management team to work as a casual on Rottnest Island.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be part of an integrated island services team providing operational, logistical and technical support to the Rottnest Island Authority in the delivery of support services including freight and luggage handling and delivery services, recycling and disposal of waste material, horticultural and general ground and road maintenance.
Essential criteria:
- HR Licence
- High Risk Licence (Forklift, EWP & Vehicle Loading Crane)
- Working at Heights
- Be able to reside on Rottnest Island
Applicants should possess a 'can-do' attitude, great work ethic, be physically resilient, demonstrate honesty and integrity and be professionally presented. Applicants should also have a desire to be a part of the Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services.
Right to work in Australia, Pre-Employment Medical, Police Clearance and Working with Children Check are mandatory.
