Trojan Recruitment Group is looking for a Trade Qualified and experienced Electrical Fitter to work in Dudley Park.

In operation for over 140 years, our client, is an iconic Australian food manufacturer, providing a diverse range of products for the retail, route and food service industry across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hard working Electrical Fitter who has worked previously in manufacturing or production environments and the food industry.

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Fitter with experience in electrical maintenance and food industry. This role's responsibilities include working in an automated processing and packaging environment.

• Busy food manufacturing facility in Dudley Park, SA
• Day & Afternoon Shifts - Plus ‘on call’ roster for after hours maintenance issues
• Good rates and conditions
• Casual role with potential for permanency
• Immediate Start

Key Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Installation, fabrication and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Troubleshooting and improving line efficiency through minor modifications
• Fault finding and rectifying

Successful candidates must possess the following::-

• An electrical fitter trade or industry experience
• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Production manufacturing & Food industry experience
• Experience in Food / Bakery on packing equipment, ovens, conveyors, mixers, pumps, etc
• PLC fault finding; Allen Bradley and Seimens experience preferred
• Ability to follow strict OH&S/ food hygiene procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Drivers’ Licence and have reliable transport
