Overview

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Leading Hand Painter to join the goal driven Structures Team. This is a full time, permanent position based at the Bomaderry Works Depot.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Team Supervisor - Structures, the focus of this position is to:

  • Provide a range of painting services to Council assets in an effective and efficient manner, within budget constraints.
  • Assist the structures section staff

About You

In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Current NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (Whitecard)
  • Elevated Work Platform Certificate or ability and willingness to obtain.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience painting and decorating in the building construction and or building maintenance industry.
