We are currently taking Expressions of Interest for experienced Fitters & Boilermakers to join our database for FIFO/Shutdown work.
Candidates who have previous experience in the mining industry will be highly regarded. Reliability and an excellent attitude is essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately cutting materials
- Carrying out other processes such as drilling, tapping and machining
- Welding and assembling products to industry standards
- Quality inspecting fabrication work
- Working under limited supervision
Skills/experience:
- Trade qualification
- Reading drawings
- Overhead crane experience preferable
- Background and experience in welding, boiler-making and/or fitting is essential
- Previous experience working with conveyor belts is highly desirable
Criteria
- Confined Space (Within 2 years)
- Working at Heights (Within 2 years)
- Willingness to undergo Drug & Alcohol testing
- 2 previous work References
- Own PPE
