Whether indulging in one of our signature pralines or truffles or escaping from the outside world and surrendering to a moment of bliss with a Belgian Hot Chocolate, we aim to surprise and delight our customers. With this in mind, we are currently looking for a Senior Chocolatier with leadership and people management experience.

The role:

Combining their Chocolatier and Leadership experience, the Senior Chocolatier will be responsible for engaging, inspiring and coaching their team to produce high quality chocolate products as efficiently as possible. Working alongside Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and New Product Development, the Senior Chocolatier will be responsible for the day to day operation of the chocolate kitchen and Production processes. They will manage the Cost of Goods Sold, Quality Assurance and Occupational Health and Safety whilst ensuring the product is delivered to timeline. Additionally, the Senior Chocolatier will oversee the new product introduction process, ensure production data is documented and provide clear direction to the production team through the planning of production goals, organisation and communication.

 

What you'll need:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in artisan chocolate or dessert production
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a production team
  • Proven track record of improving performance through people development
  • A passion for quality and standards
  • Project and Lean management expertise
  • A high level of accountability and ownership
  • A dedicated hands-on leader
  •  Previous experience working within a similar retail wholesale business
