Job Description
Our client based in Canberra is seeking a Security Chauffeur (SC) to drive him on a casual/part-time basis.
This role requires an individual who is service-oriented, a team player and highly responsive to the requirements of the principal.
Hours of work: Up to 48 hours per week.
Remuneration: Negotiable with the preferred candidate based on their skills.
Employment Agreement: Term of employment is dependent on the candidate and their skills.
Location: Canberra, ACT, Australia.
Mandatory Selection & Service Criteria
- Professional, diplomatic and discrete.
- Drive VVIP client to and from business meetings, appointments and social engagements each day.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
- Work 4-6 days per week, this is dependent upon principle 's schedule.
- The principle and his family travel frequently, you may or may not be required to accompany them.
- It's essential that you hold an ACT Security Licence Class 1ABF (plus batons & handcuffs accreditation) and are a seasoned close personal protection operative.
- A valid HR drivers licence and experience in driving a high net worth individual.
- Extensive geographic knowledge of Canberra and Sydney.
Essential Qualifications:
1. CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations
2. HLTAID003 or HLTFA311A Provide first aid / Apply first aid
Desirable Licences:
3. ACT Security Licence with either 1A,B,C,F.
Experience and knowledge:
4. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the security industry.
5. Previous experience with Police, Military and or private security organizations will be an advantage.
6. A good working knowledge of Personal Protection techniques and the Australian legal system is required. This may be tested.
7. Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing English/Excellent Communication Skills is required. This may be tested.
8. Driving Skills. Short-listed applicants may be required to produce copy of their Driving record.
Other Essentials:
9. Australian Permanent Resident. Proof of residency will be required during the selection process.
10. A valid unrestricted Australian driver's license is required and must be maintained. A copy will be required should you be selected for an interview.
11. Physically Fit, experience with Self-defence.
12. Able to work nights, weekends, public holidays and Travel Australia Wide when required.
