GATE FABRICATOR / INSTALLER
Marshall Beattie Automation is an established and growing company specialising in the design, installation and servicing of automatic gates and doors and associated equipment, operating principally in the commercial and industrial sectors. We employ a team of qualified electricians and tradespeople, fully supported by our sales and administration teams based in Belmont.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Gate Fabricator / Installer to join our busy electrical contracting business who is able to work on the in-house production of gates.

Essential Criteria
Current WA C Class drivers licence - manual vehicles
(Truck licence highly regarded)
Knowledge of safe working practices and compliances
Proficient welder - mig, tig, uphand, downhand - with certified welding qualifications
Previous gate fabrication experience highly regarded
Key Responsibilities of this role
Fabrication and installation of gates
Civil works such as installing tracks and concrete plinths
Welding of brackets on site
Installing posts, gates, rack and conduct on site repairs
Mechanical repairs to gates and equipment
Complete written reports on works carried out
Other works as required

Be self motivated, able to work efficiently both in a team and

Legible hand writing
Able to liaise with all levels of clients
Excellent communication skills
Have a positive attitude and good work ethic

Previous experience with automatic gates is an advantage, but full training is provided.
