Yusen Logistics is a world-leading total supply chain and logistics solutions provider with 14 locations across Australia and New Zealand.
We are recruiting multiple Technicians to join our Workshop in Sydney's Western Suburbs. These roles are responsible for carrying out assigned technical duties whilst ensuring work is carried out in accordance with stipulated client technical requirements, SOPs and work practices. The Technicians will perform routine and manual tasks on copiers related to the identification, diagnosis and resolution of equipment technical failures, equipment run-ups, assembly and fit-outs, general maintenance and repairs including software and hardware installations, module replacements, modifications and updates.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Installation of software, firmware and hardware on multi function copiers and other associated products
- Troubleshoot issues with software, firmware and hardware
- Perform testing processes to ensure parts function according to specification
- Swap out and refurbish faulty/defective parts and modules
- Complete associated reporting, paperwork and system updates and entries
- Provide support and maintain communication with customer representatives in person, via email/phone
- Use diagnostic tools and reporting mechanisms with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner
- Must be able to perform general warehouse duties e.g. receiving deliveries, picking and packing, recycling, manage delivery schedules, manage inventory, stocktake and general housekeeping
Skills, Experience, Knowledge required:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent (pre-requisite)
- Technical qualifications or relevant trade certificate preferred; or a combination of education and a commensurate level of commercial experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a hands on technical role
- Ability to interface professionally with customers, and strong customer service skills
- Good knowledge of networking and solid PC skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in an effective manner
- Physical attributes required to perform this role effectively include: finger dexterity, close vision, steady motor skills, the ability to lift 20 kilograms and stand for periods of time
