Sci-Fleet Toyota, Australia's largest Toyota Dealer, we currently have an opportunity available for a full time Used Car Reconditioning Technician, as we are seeking the talents of an energetic team player, customer service orientated, results driven person to join our Used Vehicle Department at our Albion Dealership.

Working closely with the Used Car Reconditioning Controller; and Service Manager and our Used Vehicle Department team, You will be responsible for:

• Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
• Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
• Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
• Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
• Ordering parts needed as part of warranty service
• Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
• Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
• Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return

As our ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• A developed and extensive knowledge of vehicles and the ability to work proactively in an autonomous environment
• A high attention to detail with a good work ethic
• Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit
• Intermediate PC skills
• Hold a current and valid manual driver's license (Queensland)
• Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (AUR30405) is highly desirable
• Demonstrating Sci-Fleet values and behaviours that align with company policy
