Ecogroup is an innovative, leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen exhaust canopies and commercial cooking equipment.
All products are manufactured in-house at our Dandenong South factory by our dedicated staff using the latest equipment.
Your role will be to complete the electrical wiring of equipment during the manufacturing process. You will also attend customers sites throughout Australia to commission equipment and to complete inspections and repairs. Full training will be provided, however you should have experience either manufacturing, servicing or repairing electronic equipment. An up to date restricted electrical workers licence (disconnect/reconnect licence) is mandatory for this role.
It is anticipated that the electrical portion of this role will be approximately 90%. However, on occasions, other general duties within the factory will be required when electrical works are not scheduled. Therefore you will be an an all rounder who enjoys completing a variety of tasks.
To be successful, you will be well presented and have a great work ethic. You should have hands on experience working with electrical wiring and electronic components. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to problem solve and develop new and innovative ways to improve the products you are working on.
A phone interview will be conducted to short list candidates, with successful candidates proceeding to an on site interview. Medical checks and drug and alcohol testing are an integral part of our recruitment process.
