Western Work Force are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians specifically Scraper/Rollers for multiple positions across Western Australia's BHP and FMG sites. Ongoing shutdown positions with the potential for a roster position pending on work ethic, knowledge and experience of the industry.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Roller change outs
- General conveyor maintenance
- Tracking frame installations
- Skirt maintenance
- Replacing and inspecting plough blades
- Plan, organise and preare for belt splicing activities
Essential Criteria:
All candidates MUST have previous experience in the Belt Splicing industry and have the following Tickets/Licences"
- White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Workign at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- Gas Testing Atmospheres
- Fire Extinguisher Certificate
- Mechanical Trade Certificate - highly desirable
