SCRIVA JOINERY is one of Sydney's fastest growing joinery installation companies. Our Director has over 10 years experience in the joinery industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his team. SCRIVA JOINERY project manages the installation of small and large scale residential joinery projects - from kitchens and bathrooms to laundries and home offices, all the way up to whole house fit outs.
About the role
With the ever increasing volume of work that SCRIVA JOINERY is taking on, we need an enthusiastic 2nd or 3rd year apprentice who's interested in working on site assisting in the company's residential joinery installation projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly under the guidance of the Director as well as one-on-one with the company's experienced and fully qualified tradesmen. They will assist with the installation of kitchens, bathroom vanities, home offices and laundries, and will also be required to undertake maintenance work. Towards the end of their successful completion of their apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be best placed to take on more responsibility within the company, build their own team, and run their own installations.
The successful candidate must be professional, enthusiastic, punctual, and eager to learn.

We also like to reward high performance at SCRIVA JOINERY and there will be many opportunities to earn extra income through occasional overtime and weekend work, along with increases in remuneration as you progress through your apprenticeship. Being onsite all day and having to travel around Sydney, a petrol allowance will also be negotiated as part of your contract.
Our successful candidate will also be provided will all the safety gear and tools necessary to fulfil their role. However, you are encouraged to carry your own tools with you also if you have them.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate must be currently undertaking their apprenticeship as a cabinet maker or shop fitter. No prior installation experience is required - you will receive all your training on the job. We are also looking for someone with a professional work ethic, a good eye for detail, and someone who is willing to work flexible hours if and when required.
All TAFE expenses and insurances will be covered by the business.
