Skout Solutions are currently seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to fill a short term contract based at Puckapunyal. This role will consist of full time hours with an early finish Friday. Overtime is also available on occasion and an opportunity to move into a permanent role may be available.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, diagnostics and repairs on Heavy Vehicles and Armoured Vehicles.
- Conduct servicing tasks on equipment during routine maintenance.
- Replace or repair damaged and malfunctioning parts following inspection.
- Effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on a wide range of vehicles.
- Adhere to all regulatory and contract specific requirements.
- Work as part of a team.
Skills and Experience:
- Equivalent to cert 111 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
- Hold a current Australian State or Territory open driver’s licence for Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) classes of vehicles (Desirable).
You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance!
