Job Description:

As a Print Machinist you would set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce flexographic printed products. (Flexographic presses are used for printing on almost any type of substrate including plastic, metallic films, cellophane, and paper. For example, it is widely used for printing on food packaging.)

Required attributes and skills:

• Under 21 preferred
• Mature Minded
• ‘Can Do’ and a participative attitude
• Enthusiastic

Summary of Training and Primary Duties:

• Heavy lifting 
• Participate with training schedules
• Operating equipment’s with supervision
• Train on associated equipment
• Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Communicate in the workplace
• Prepare, load and unload product on and off machine
• Prepare and maintain the work area
• Undertake basic machine maintenance
• Use computer systems
