A busy Marine Diesel national engine distributor located at Capalaba is looking for a motivated Diesel Fitter to join our small, friendly team.
The successful applicant will primarily be required to undertake field service works including servicing, repairing, reconditioning and re-powering on a range of luxury and commercial vessels. Works will include local, domestic and occasional international travel.

Qualifications
- Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter, primarily experienced with engines. (Marine experience preferable buy not necessary).
- Electronic diagnostics experience
- Work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
- High level of organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good customer relations
- High level of attention to detail and cleanliness
- Current Open Manual Drivers License with clean driving record.
- Own hand tools
- Prepare reports of a technical nature on specific task or assignments.
- Willingness to carry out domestic and international travel on occasional basis.
- Willingness to undertake occasional overtime and after hours call out.
- Positive Work Ethic
- Willingness to learn
