Robinson Plumbing is growing its business and is seeking a highly motivated qualified plumber to take on the role as Assistant Manger that can immediately add value to the organisation and mesh with with the dynamic, hardworking and adaptable team that exists today.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, regulate, repair, and replace plumbing lines, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
Operate video inspection equipment to locate and determine draiange issues as required.
Install, repair and test back flow prevention devices and thermostatic mixing valves.
Repair, remove or replace sewer lines and laterals; assemble and lay pipe.
Train and act as Senior/Supervisor for other plumbers.
Provide input regarding the work performance of plumbers.
Maintain inventory of parts, fixtures, tools and other shop equipment; develop local sources of supply.
Operate a variety of specialized equipment including, but not limited to, high pressure drain cleaners, and other power and hand tools commonly used in the trade.
Work from plans, work orders or other instructions; interpret plans and specifications; check for compliance with codes.
Skills and experience
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in skilled commercial plumbing work; working knowledge of safety practices.
Ability to operate power tools, gauges, and diagnostic or specialized plumbing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret plans, schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, or work orders.
Ability to assist apprentices and or trades assistants with work orders and provide direction to other plumbers in order to meet schedules and timelines.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex plumbing problems.
Ability to operate a computer and Iphone
