Boilermakers, trade qualified, multiple roles based in Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Orange.

Hays Engineering currently has a number of boilermaker roles for a range of projects within the Newcastle region.

Projects are currently based in:
Newcastle
Hunter Valley
Orange (shutdown)

Each role requires a trade certified boilermaker that has experience working in either the mining industry or structural steel both onsite or within a workshop environment.

Your new role will be working within the construction or mining industries. The roles include working with structural steel fabrication, maintenance and manufacturing of new mining equipment. All opportunities allow for skill progression and medium to long term contracts.

You will need to have:

• Competent in MIG/TIG welding
• Experience in Inner Shield Flux Core with and without gas
• Solid wire
• Sub Arc Welding
• Electrode low hydrogen
• Flame and plasma cutter

You will be trade qualified with an extensive background and recent experience as a Boilermaker, have a strong track record in being able to follow direction, read plans, to work autonomously but also able to work as part of a team to reach the required outcomes.

A competitive hourly rate is on offer for the most suitable applicants and while this is a temporary position initially, if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team, ongoing opportunities could certainly present themselves.
