About the role
The role that you will be carrying out is pit installer.
You will be required to work in teams of 2. 1 being the team leader and the other being yourself.
Our pit division will help us to grow as a unit, achieve better goals, gain better relationships with clients and distribute more work.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Following SWMS
- Filling out pre starts, excavation permits, JSA's etc.
- Working in the public eye
- Setting up work zones following SWMS traffic scenario specifications
- Removing and installing tellco pits.
- Use of cordless tools eg. drill, saber saw, grinder etc.
- Locating services
- Dial before you dig
- Driving manual vehicle
- Daily checks of vehicles and equipment
- Taking evidence photos

Drivers license is a must
