ETS hold’s the contracts to clear vegetation along Metro & Yarra Trams network in and around the Melbourne Metropolitan area, and is now looking for crew members to fill the following positions:
- EWP Operators
- Tree Climbers
- Chipper Operators
- Track Vehicle Operator (TVO)
In addition to tree trimming work there will be a variety of other tasks to be completed as part of these positions – slashing and garden maintenance for example. We are looking for workers that are happy to work as part of a team and undertake any tasks required.
To be successful in one of these roles you will need to be:
- highly motivated, with a positive attitude;
- able to work as part of a team;
- able to take direction and follow instructions;
- determined in your approach to the role and have a proven commitment to safety.
Previous industry experience and qualifications (Rail card, Cert III Arb and Cert II ESI) will be advantageous, however we are willing to train people with the right attitude. As a minimum you will need to hold a current MR licence and a White card.
Positions are full time working a minimum 72 hour fortnight over 9 days with 1 RDO, plus additional hours as required. There will be occasions where 8 hour night shifts will need to be worked on a rostered basis. Night shifts will attract payment at the rate of double time.
A competitive hourly rate will be payable for these positions based on your skills and qualifications, along with 9.5% Super.
