Our Opportunity

Our Protected Vehicles business is currently seeking a qualified to assist in the service and repair our Bushmaster and Hawkei vehicles. You will carry out a variety of tasks to ensure that all servicing, repairs and upgrades are completed to meet customer expectations and deadlines. 

Responsibilities

  • To conduct servicing and repairs to allocated vehicles within the relevant Service Centre and at Forward Repair Service sites as required in a safe and standard manner IAW the prescribe work instructions.
  • Maintain 100% Customer focus and satisfaction by proactively addressing customer issues and concerns, communicating effectively and delivering in full, on time and within budget 
  • Accurately complete all activities associated with the role in a timely manner including but not limited to: Timesheets, Job cards, JSEA’s, Workday, E-HR and variations etc.
  • Actively report any quality issues or concerns and participate in the subsequent solution design utilising practical problem solving tools.
  • Safety focused

About You

  • Trade qualified as a heavy vehicle mechanic with recent experience working in a similar heavy vehicle environment
  • Ideally your qualifications also include MR Licence, PMV, Forklift licence and a HR licence (we have some flexibility if you don’t have all of these)
  • Passionate about what you do and enjoy working in a busy team environment
  • Safety  and process focused

Special Requirements

You must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance therefore only Australian citizens are able to be considered for this role.

Please note there will be a police check and pre-employment medical check as part of this recruitment process for the preferred candidate.

Occasional interstate and overseas travel may be required for this role.
