The Role
In this position you will be working on treatment plants designed to treat contaminated water at Williamtown, NSW. As a Water Treatment Operator you will:
- Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for the water treatment systems;
- Direct activities to ensure that recognised codes and standards, WH&S protocols and customer requirements are met while being environmentally conscious;
- Maintain effective communication with project team members;
- Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations; and
- Plan and schedule work to meet required timelines.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring to the company:
- A related University Degree and/or Operators Licence;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Sound knowledge of WH&S, Australian Standards and regulations;
- Excellent problem solving skills with critical thinking;
- Exceptional time management skills; and
- An ability to work autonomously as well as manage a small team.
What is on offer:
- 12+ month contract term.
- 5 days per week.
- Short term commencement.
- Salary range commensurate with skills and experience.
