We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team on a Part Time Basis- Monday - Friday 3:30 - 7pm.

Positions available in the following locations:

• John Henry Primary School

Must live close to the school and own your own transport (Public transport can be difficult)-

You will be responsible for a range of cleaning services within the school. Responsibilities will include managing a team of cleaners, quality control, auditing, providing information for consumable orders, cleaning of offices, classrooms, toilets, halls and libraries.

Other responsibilities include waste management (Disposal of rubbish & segregation, etc.), reporting issues/ damage, security management (Locking/ Arming of facility at end of shift, door locking, etc.) and stocking consumables (toilet paper, hand towel, soap, etc.). This is a hands on Cleaning Team Leader role.

We are looking for a reliable individual who will demonstrate strong communication skills, a hands on attitude, team orientated, as well as a friendly, professional manner.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning
• Experience leading teams
• Training and guiding staff
• Customer service and public relations skills
• Ability to communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds, within our “Professional Behaviours” policy.
• Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles
• Be available Monday to Friday at the times specified above
• Ability to work unsupervised

Please note: As a pre-requisite, candidates will be required to supply their own Working with Children Check- Victoria and undertake a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical check.
