Test and Commissioning Technicians are urgently required to join our Auburn Maintenance Centre to support the introduction of our new Passenger Trains. Our Technicians will be responsible for a range of testing activities which includes routine static testing, type testing and technical support through to train acceptance and the start of revenue service.

• 8 month fixed-term contract positions
• Rotational shifts including days, nights and weekends
• Three to five days off in between shift rotations
• Working to tight deadlines
• Lots of variety in daily activities
• Fault finding and problem solving

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualifications
• Extensive rollingstock experience preferred.
• A background in aviation or maritime test and commissioning will also be considered.
• Drive and passion for problem-solving within a 12-hour window.
• Previous experience with using diagnostic software and tools.
• Ability to complete comprehensive test reports.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet compliance with the regulatory safety standards.
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities or projects simultaneously.
