About the business and the role
The Garage is a new clean workshop with new good quality equipment. Working under an excellent master technician!
Our target vehicles are good quality, late model European, Japanese and Korean light vehicles. We also perform suspension upgrades with tyre and wheel packages.
The Garage Miami sees a large cross section of vehicles however Advanced Diagnosis, European and Turbo Diesel Experience is a must!
Saturday work may be required from time to time however employees may choose 5 or 6 days per week.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to meet and exceed standard repair times
- Scheduled Servicing of modern vehicles including timing belts or chains
- Vehicle Inspections of Tyre and Wheel customer vehicles
- Advanced Vehicle Diagnosis that extends past reading fault codes
- Vehicle Test Drives on every vehicle
- Turbo Diesel Repairs
- Repair and Replace Suspension and Brake Components
- Complete all paperwork and inspection reports on every vehicle
- Repair Quotes
- Minor Drive Train Repairs
- Maintain and clean and tidy work space
- Show respect for customers and their vehicles
Skills and experience
- Certificate 3 in Automotive Technician (mechanic)
- Evidence of recent service and diagnostic experience with modern vehicles
- Knowledge of wheel alignment helpful but not essential
- Cheerful, Helpful and Professional customer service skills
