Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals.
The Project
The Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project is one of Australia’s largest resource projects. Located at Ashburton North, 12 kilometers west of Onslow in Western Australia, the project will consist of two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonnes per annum and a domestic gas plant.
The Role and Requirements
We are seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified Level 3 Rope Access Technicians with a Boilermaker/Welder, Mechanical Fitter or a Painting Trade Qualification for opportunities to work at Wheatstone. Working on a large-scale construction Project.4:1 roster and 13-day fortnight, whilst being provided accommodation at a purpose built camp. This would be an immediate start.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably working in a large-scale construction environment within the Oil & Gas Industry
- Current IRATA qualification - Level 3
- Relevant trade qualification
- Current Working at Heights (less than 2 years old)
- Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
