Exciting opportunities exists for an Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and an Electrician to join our team on a full time basis. The position is based in Sydney with occasional intrastate work involved. Applicants with Dual Trade (Electrical) and/or BMS experience will be highly regarded.
In this role, your key duties will include…
- Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems and plant equipment.
- Carrying out breakdown service as required.
- Carrying out installation & quoted project works as required.
- Being willing to travel intra and interstate as required.
- Attend regular meetings to ensure client expectations are being met.
- Being part of an after-hours on call roster.
To be a successful candidate for this role, it is desirable that you…
- Have experience in servicing major mechanical plant and equipment.
- Have developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Be highly organised and able to multi task.
- Show attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work under pressure.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with central plant equipment such as chillers, built up plant is beneficial but not essential.
Essential Requirements…
- Construction OHS White Card
- Full ARCTICK License
- 'C' Class Driver's License
- Restricted or Full Electrical License
- National Police Clearance issued within the past 3 months (or be willing to apply upon acceptance of the position)
- Willing to undertake drug & alcohol testing as well as fitness for work assessments.
Working Safely at Heights Certificate and First Aid certificates are also desirable but not necessary for application.
