Holmes Panel & Paint is a well established Smash Repair business located in the Ipswich area (Churchill). Due to high growth we are in the process of relocating to a new premises based in Raceview and are currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater or Vehicle stripper/fitter to join our team of skilled professionals to perform high quality, timely smash repairs.
At Holmes Panel & Paint we are continually looking at ways to improve current processes. We are proud to be using the latest in Chassis Aligner Technology with all our major repairs being completed on our state of the art Car-o-liner Chassis Aligner to ensure quality outcomes for our customers.
In the position of Panel Beater/ Vehicle stripper & Fitter you will be employed on a full-time basis and be required to work between the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 2:00pm on Friday.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Panel Beater - Providing timely, quality repairs (both minor and major)
- Fitter/Stripper - Assisting tradesman with vehicle dismantling and reassembly
- Fitter/Stripper - Cleaning of vehicles in preparation for customer collection
- Completing relevant paperwork as directed by the Manager
- Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment
In addition, the successful applicant will also possess the following skills and attributes:
- Hold a Trade Certificate (Mandatory for Panel Beater)
- Previous experience in a smash repair business
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised
