This national company is a leader in the windows and doors industry, servicing the residential and commercial markets all across metropolitan Melbourne. Due to continual growth, we are now searching for a Service Technician to join their hard working and dedicated team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, your main duty will be to liaise with builders and consumers to deliver outstanding customer service, quality control and the general repair and service of windows and doors.
Every day is a different day and you will relish meeting customer expectations as this position will involve you to think outside the box while you utilise your time management, attention to detail and technical skills.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- General repair and maintenance of windows and doors
- Customer service, quality control and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication - both written and verbal
This is a great opportunity for the person with a trade, service or manufacturing background who has basic computer knowledge, ability to use basic hand tools and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience working in industries of building, construction or manufacturing would be highly regarded.
Car licence is a must in this position, as you will be responsible for driving a work van.
The successful candidate will begin as an ongoing casual, working 38 hours Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to become full time upon successful completion of the probationary period and medical & police checks.
