We are currently seeking a all-round maintenance fitter to assist various sites  and shifts in and around South East Melbourne with Shift Coverage, Projects and Maintenance Days.  This is a casual position with no guarantee of hours or shifts and would be suitable for someone looking for a couple of days each week or a subcontractor.

This  role will present you with a diverse range of duties in a team environment or autonomously where you will be providing preventative and reactive maintenance along with diagnosing and repairing plant and project work.

To be successful in this role you will posses experience working on fixed plant and equipment in the FMCG industry and have a proven background in

• Trade Qualification in Fitting
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance,
• Good troubleshooting skills,
• Pneumatics/hydraulics, pumps and valves
• MIG & TIG Welding
• Disconnect/reconnect license desirable
• Ability to work autonomously  
• A commitment to OHS practices
• Forklift, EWP desirable
