About the business
We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This role will be based at our Broome Toyota dealership. Please note this is a residential based in Broome-FIFO is not on offer.
About the role
- Carrying out a variety of electrical repairs/maintenance on new & used vehicles
- Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
- Preventative maintenance
- Trouble shooting and fault finding
- Completing basic paperwork/log books
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components

Skills and experience
- Automotive mechanic trade certificate is essential
- Previous Toyota dealership experience would be advantageous
- Current C class driver's license
- Must have own hand tools
- Good mechanical knowledge
- The ability to work as part of a team
- An understanding of workplace health and safety
