We provide services to a broad range of customers across Australia and New Zealand including multi-national retail and corporate chains, Government bodies and various strata & property management groups.

About the role

Our company is seeking a qualified electrical / fire technician in the Brisbane area. The main focus of this position is to conduct inspections, testing and repairs of fire protection equipment and electrical works while being in constant contact with our scheduling team in the North Sydney office.

Our rotating test schedule and large client base may require you to travel periodically to regional areas. 

Duties

• Test and repair emergency evacuation lighting systems
• Conduct 6 monthly and annual tests of fire protection equipment (panel experience highly desired)
• Inspect, replace and install firefighting equipment
• Test and tag electrical equipment (minor component of the job)
• Electrical installations and repairs

Skills / experience/ qualifications

•  Electrical Licence
• QBCC fire licenced
• Drivers licence
• Working With Children Check  Clearance
• WHS Construction Card
• Computer literate – experience with job reporting / scheduling systems such as Simpro or Firemate
• Fire qualifications (Certificate 2) highly desired
