About the Role

BOSS is seeking an experienced 'Fire Alarm and Detection' Specialist to support and lead our team of great people to new levels. This person will need to be a professional business leader who promotes our Team's culture, who has the ability to deliver on outcomes and deadlines.

With our focus being on 'Fire Alarm and Detection' upgrades, the successful applicant must have extensive knowledge and experience in this field, in addition to a comprehensive employment history in all other fire protection components.

Key Business Attributes

* 10 years' experience in the Fire Protection industry;

* 4 years' experience in a supervisory role;

* QBCC Licence in Fire Detection, Alarm and Warning Systems;

* QBCC Licence in two other Fire Protection categories;

* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards - AS 1851-2012, AS 1670.1, AS 2293;

* Knowledge of the Building Code and Queensland Development Code;

* Champion in tender submissions, quoting and cost analysis;

* Current driver's licence (open);

* Ability to provide accurate service records;

* Ability to communicate with management and clients at a professional level;

* Comprehensive knowledge of computer software and communication devices.
