The Role
Truck Centre Port Hedland are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Road Transport Mechanic to join the busy team in the North West. You will be responsible for providing a high quality of workmanship on Mack, Volvo & UD products through scheduled maintenance and repairs, as well as assisting on the 24 hour break down roster.
Being a Dealership environment, you will have full access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.
The branch has recently moved into a brand new facility that has been custom built specifically to meet the needs of our employees and customers, making the work environment ideal.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience as a Road Transport Mechanic, as well as the following:

Relevant Heavy Diesel trade certificate (Heavy Vehicle essential)

Experience in a dealership environment is desirable

Previous experience as a road transport mechanic (essential)

MC Licence (highly desirable)

Competent in fault diagnosing using computer systems

Excellent time management

Positive and proactive approach to your work

The ability to work well within a small team environment

Self-Motivation and the Ability to Work Autonomously

Experience in a retail environment and on Mack, UD and/or Volvo Product is highly desirable.
A competitive remuneration package with monthly bonuses and company housing/ housing allowance will be provided to the right candidate. Residential or FIFO roster will be considered for the successful applicant.
