The traineeship will include undertaking a 2 year course in Cert III Surface Preparation and Protective Coatings whilst undertaking all practical aspects of work in a supervised workshop.
Applicants must be competent to follow internal and site specific requirements related to WHS&E regulations at all times. You will be expected to plan tasks, select equipment and appropriate procedures from known alternatives, and takes responsibility for the work of others. It will be expected that you understand and apply quality control techniques in undertaking all work.
Your competency to apply skills and knowledge in complex but routine situations where discretion and judgment are involved is imperative, and you must be able to work autonomously and represent the business professionally at all times.
The successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol test. Random Drug & Alcohol screenings will also be conducted periodically. You must hold a current drivers licence and be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
