About The Company
A metal fabrication company located in Carrum Downs. They are a well known family business, producing high quality stainless steel products that are fully designed and manufactured in-house. The products are manufactured for hospitals, restaurants and hotels throughout Australia. 

About you

• You will be a Trades Qualified Boilermaker
• Capable of welding steel & stainless steel from 0.9 mm to 3 mm thickness
• Capable of reading engineering drawings
• Able to sand and polish stainless steel to food grade specifications
• Familiar with the use of a CNC brake presses & CNC guillotines
• Able to use cold saws and band saw
• Sound knowledge of hand tools
• Attention to detail and quality driven person.

The Job

• Cut materials to specified measurements using  guillotine, cold saw, band saw, etc.
• Make components as per Drawing specifications using CNC brake press
• Fully MIG/TIG weld stainless steel components that vary in thickness from 0.9 mm to 3 mm
• Weld steel components
• Polish stainless steel to food grade specifications
• Previous experience in food grade stainless steel fabrication highly regarded

Hours and Rate

Hours: 7.00am - 3.30pm Monday To Friday with up to 2-Hours of overtime per day
Saturday from 6 am-12.00 pm Overtime available

Salary on offer $60-$70K + Super
