The Role
Fulton Hogan is pleased to have recently been awarded the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract and we are forming our team to perform the following works including landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works, litter collection, pavement repairs, street sweeping, line marking, cleaning, civil works on both airside and landside locations at Sydney Airport.
With the recent awarding of this contract, we are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Mechanic. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, however, not be limited to;
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance of plant machinery
- Procurement of required equipment
- Invoicing and costing
- Fault diagnosis of plant machinery
- General labouring as required
About You
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience;
- Relevant trade qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Exposure to a range of plant machinery
- Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to communicate across all levels of the business (crew to client)
- Have a practical and have a hands-on approach
- Be able to complete an Airside, Security Induction Card, including Federal police and medical clearance.
- Flexible for call out on afternoon and night shift coverage as required
Positions will need to undergo;
- Airside Security Induction Card, including Federal police and;
- Fitness for work medical clearance
- Sydney Airport Corporation and Fulton Hogan Induction
