ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Complete Belting Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian conveyor and asset maintenance management company that manufactures and supplies products and services to a range of sites across Australia.
We strive to provide the best quality products and services in the industry, and we have positions available for experienced boilermakers and mechanical fitters with maintenance experience within our Sydney-based team.
If successful, you would service one site exclusively (located in the western suburbs of Sydney) and carry out assigned planned repair and maintenance works on a range of mechanical assets.
These roles offer a unique opportunity for those looking for a diverse working environment at a competitive rate, and will see you perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis.
The positions will be based full-time onsite, with multiple shifts available (day, afternoon and night).
This opportunity will see Mechanical Fitters:
- Carry out general mechanical works
- Carry out preventative maintenance diagnostic audits
- Undertake necessary maintenance tasks
This opportunity will see Boilermakers:
- Carry out general fabrication works in relation to a variety of fixed plant
- Carry out maintenance, repair and servicing on mechanical assets
Suitable applicants will possess the following skills:
- Australian recognised trade certification
- Minimum three years of trade experience
- Experience working on fixed plant
- Experience working with conveyor systems is desirable
- Specific experience in conveyor diagnostics and maintenance would be highly regarded
Suitable applicants must also possess the following qualities:
- Commitment to the highest Work Health Safety and Environment standards in all activities, with the ability to understand and apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Commitment to quality workmanship and concern for job-turnaround and customer downtime
- A strong work ethic and ability to follow instruction as well as work well as an individual or as part of team, especially when under pressure
- A responsible attitude, with a willingness to be held accountable
- A valid driver licence
- Possessing the following qualifications would be an advantage: confined space; Working Safely at Heights; EWP; White Card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
