This innovative and cutting edge company is looking for a highly technical and dynamic Field Service Engineer to drive the service, maintenance and support division of the business ensuring ongoing high level of customers’ satisfaction.
Your new job
Reporting to the Service Manager, your role as Field Service Engineer is pivotal in the installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting and support of the companies’ full product suite.
- You will establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their success.
- You will manage customer expectations by communicating the work performed and providing follow up plans if and when required.
- Another part of your job will be to deliver system level training at customer sites and manage service inventory according to company policies. In addition to this, you will issue daily field service reports to document all work performed.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate with have extensive experience of installation and performance maintenance of scientific instrumentation.
- You will have a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or similar (other science related).
- Direct experience of the medical or science based industry is essential to understand the application of the product with particular emphasis on liquid chromatography & mass spectrometry technology.
- Field based experience is desirable, though not essential. If you can demonstrate a working knowledge of the equipment and a willingness to travel you will be considered for the position.
