Our client has an opportunity for a Metallurgical Technician to work as part of their South West Metallurgical Research and Development team.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a Chemical or Extractive Metallurgical graduate seeking an opportunity at ground level within a well respected mineral resources company. You will need to hold relevant chemical /metallurgical qualification and previous experience working within mining or mineral sands environment would be well regarded.
You must have:
- An uncompromised commitment to workplace health & safety.
- A current WA driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Minimum of Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques or tertiary qualification within a chemical or metallurgical discipline.
- Mine site experience with evidence of competence around ore or sand sample review, preparation, storage and data collection activity.
- High Risk forklift (LF) ticket considered an advantage.
- Ability to undertake full pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
