The role: 

The Facilities Manager will work as part of the BGIS team and will provide superior facilities management services for a key client account. This role is based on the client site at Parramatta.

Essentially you will be responsible for the following:   

  • Managing the delivery of the Services Agreement ensuring that the contractual KPI's are achieved;
  • The contract's financial success through delivery of the yearly profit forecast;
  • Customer advocacy through exceptional service;
  • Managing employees and subcontractors through effective leadership and communication;
  • Ensuring that OHS & E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain the system capturing all Preventative and Reactive work orders for the sites;

 Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a property, facilities management or a corporate environment;
  • Trade qualification/ background is highly desirable;
  • Strong demonstrated experience in management of large scale maintenance activities;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders;
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; 
  • High level organisational skills;
