We are seeking an experienced full time Residential Property Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Located in the CBD, you will be working with a professional firm managing an exclusive portfolio of executive homes and luxury apartments within the Perth CBD and city fringe.
About the role
You will be working closely with the head of department, be able to develop strong, professional relationships with clients, whilst assisting in portfolio growth and development. This role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity where you will be involved in all areas of property management, with no BDM or trust accounting with good admin support.
Duties include:
- Client and tenant liaison
- Negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals
- Managing leases
- Routine property inspections (currently outsourced)
- Contractor management
- Budget preparation and management
- Leasing
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with new managements
- Assist director and sales reps with new managements
- Identifying solutions whilst representing and upholding the Burgess Rawson brand and market reputation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold extensive experience in residential property management
- Be familiar with residential property management legislation and regulations
- Be able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
- Be forward thinking in your approach
- Be comfortable and familiar with the physical, lease and financial management of Residential Property
- CBD apartment building background is desirable but not essential.
Exposure to property accounting software and processes, together with a working knowledge of OH&S, Strata and Property Tree would be preferred.
As a minimum you must have a WA Property Management Real Estate Licence and hold a current WA drivers licence and own a suitable vehicle to be used to visit and inspect properties.
