Peak Property Group is a boutique property developer based in Burnley. We are looking for an enthusiastic Development Manager to join a young, vibrant and fast-growing business.
Peak Property Group is not your ‘run of the mill’ developer. Specifically, the company specialises in Co-Development, which involves partnering with the property owner to develop their property; realising the true value of their asset.
About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will assist the team with the active development management of new and existing projects including residential and mixed-use sites.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the project management of current and upcoming projects;
- Ensure specific KPIs and budget requirements are met;
- Manage the tender and construction process including management of external consultants;
- Work alongside sales and marketing teams for each project;
- Reporting on development, project status, forecasted completion cost v budget and more;
- Build feasibility models and report on feasibilities and cash flow;
- Build positive working relationships with all stakeholders;
- Manage key sites and report to senior management;
- Work through the design, tender, procurement of contractors & consultants, construction delivery and handover phase of each project;
- Liaise with various stakeholders to coordinate, plan and deliver projects;
- Manage the time, budget and scope of works to deliver projects as intended.
Skills & Experience:
- More than 5 years of experience in managing projects
- Tertiary qualification in project management is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Project or other constructions program skills
- Property Development knowledge essential
- Client focused project management experience with strong supervisory skills.
What we require:
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Must be organised, have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines;
- Solid experience in a similar with an understanding of planning application and approval processes;
- Understanding of civil works, infrastructure and services;
- Proven experience leading and driving projects and teams;
- High level of commercial acumen;
- Proactive with a positive attitude, patient and flexible in your work approach;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Well organised and able to prioritise effectively.
The role is 5 days per week (8.30am- 5pm), permanent position.
Salary- $110,000 - $150,000 pa inc super depending on experience.
