Porter Davis are now becoming increasingly established in sunny Queensland! This is an incredibly exciting time for our business as we look to bring our award winning products and services to our Queensland customers. With our new display home build program continuing as planned, we are now looking to appoint a talented and passionate Sales Consultant to join our team in Brisbane's South and help make a real difference to our people, our processes and our customers in Queensland. Reporting into the State Manager, Queensland, this role will focus on providing best-fit solutions and recommendations to customers on the full scope of products, services and capabilities and showcasing the PD brands in Queensland.
As a values driven business, it’s important that you are well aligned to our brand and ways of working. As a result, this role will afford you the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the team in Melbourne as part of both your initial induction and on-boarding, as well as your ongoing training and development to best learn our systems, processes, values and customer service centric approach.    
 
So what’s the role all about?
Key responsibilities include:
  • Sales Activity – you love sourcing and identifying potential sales opportunities with new customers and already understand how to measure your own sales performance against agreed sales targets. Given this is the launch of our brand in Queensland, you’ll actively promote PD products and services and continually explore business development opportunities.
  • Customer Service ‘Respecting the Dream’ – promoting and living the belief that…..New Homes are the foundation of great dreams, and WE STAND to respect and nurture those dreams.
  • Market and Business knowledge – you’ll take pride in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Porter Davis product, pricing and promotions as well as relevant industry products, keeping informed of market trends and customer buying patterns to develop appropriate strategies  to target customers.
  • Admin and Documentation – supporting our journey to becoming a world class company, you’ll provide client files to the Operations team with accuracy, quality and attention to detail, completing all pre-construction paperwork to meet deadlines and ensuring all customer applications and database records and files are up-to-date. You’ll also work closely with Marketing to ensure appropriate marketing collateral is readily accessible.
  • Display Home Management – you’ll be responsible for ensuring outstanding presentation standards are maintained in your display homes, actively participating in company and local estate events to promote the brand.

  • New Homes Sales background – you’re from industry and have an exemplary sales track record and reputation as a customer-focused sales professional with a strong understanding of the local market.
  • Driven and self-motivated – you love working to KPIs and have proved time and again you ability to exceed targets. 
  • Business acumen – you already understand the process of building, have competitor insight and understand the nuances of the local market to support you ongoing success.
  • Skills – your sales expertise is complimented by outstanding organisation, communication and interpersonal skills as well as high level customer engagement techniques.
  • Passion – you loved the residential build industry and are genuinely excited about an opportunity to bring fantastic new products and services to the Queensland market.
